Plantation Timber Haulage


Since 1990 timber cartage has been a major component of Dino’s operations. Carting pine and blue gum logs into all the large sawmills from plantations in the South West Dinos has become a significant player in this market. We also cart woodchip from various localities to the Bunbury Harbour.

Timber Jinkers


In its log cartage fleet of 9 trucks Dino’s has a number of Jinker and Prime Mover Road Train Combinations with various bolster set-ups to cater for various log sizes.

Dinos has moved toward the use of Elphinstone easyloader logging trailers. These trailers have the ability to fold up when empty thus providing increased stability, road safety, road wear and tear, and improved operating efficiency.

Woodchip


Dino’s has a number of high sided tipping trailers that are used to haul woodchips from fixed and mobile woodchip plants. Operating around the clock where requested two prime movers are dedicated to this commodity in the 2006/07 financial year.

 

Tautliners


Dino’s have the contract to cart all pallets for Pinetec from their Collie facility to customers throughout the state.
